Open Bushball

Friday, April 2, 2010
Sunday, June 27, 2010
Sunday, August 8, 2010
Sunday, October 10, 2010

Start times for the open bushball event will be 11:00 am each day. Players should be there earlier, to setup their gear and form teams.

Setup times for the speedball events (except Riverboat Days), will be 9:00 am, with an expected start time of 11:00. The more players that are available for the setup, the sooner we can start playing. Coaching, with the Six Shootahs will take place right after the field is set. The league games will go first, with open scrimage after that, for the remainder of the day.

The paintball league for speedball is being formed, as long as players sign up. For the first year, there will be no extra costs, and the season will cover 9 events (from May 16 through to September 12), with all the league events being played at the college field. The two opening events, at Candian Tire, and the Riverboat Days event, are not included in the league dates. We need players to form up their teams, with 3 players on the field, and a roster of 4 (to allow for someone being out of town, or work schedules, etc.).

It is expected that your team will make all of the league dates, and maintain your roster for the year. Points will be recorded, and at the final event, prizes (still to be determined) will be awarded. Remember, we will set up the divisions based on experience and skill level. Division 4 will be for players who are new to the sport, or have not played a full season. Both mechanical and electronic markers can be expected in this division. Division 3 will be for more experienced players, and most, if not all, of the players will use electronic markers at this level. Player may sign up in which ever division they choose, however, the staff of Ideal Paintball will reserve the right to move players based on their skill level. Coaching and assistance will be provided by some of our division 2 team, the Six Shootahs.

The Riverboat Days Event is seperate, and you can mix teams up for this event isf you choose. You can also expect that the Six Shootahs will likely be mixed in with the division 3 players for that event.

Please contact Dave McMurdo to sign up for the league. This league is for you guys, so lets make this fun and we will be able to expand on the league next year.
